Something came to me the other day that I had been trying to figure out for a very long time. In question was why I love Madrid so much. I think the major reason why is because Madrid is essentially a giant version of New York City’s Greenwich Village/Soho with a European enhancement of colors, people, and balconies. I think I made that comparison previously, but it wasn’t as well defined. Now though, it’s good.
This is the Rossio Train Station in Lisbon, Portugal. The architecture is incredible, with the facade outside being one hightlight, but the light inside might be even better.
